Tom Holland, a 26-year-old actor best known for playing Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has disclosed that he is taking extraordinary action to keep his sanity.

Nobody will learn from us that being a public person also makes you the subject of a lot of remarks, both favorable and bad. When you’re a global celebrity like Tom Holland, who has been renowned for playing Spider-Man for more than six years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this is even more true.
While the majority of Hollywood actors and other celebrities appear to be okay with living in the public eye and facing criticism, this is not always the case. Tom Holland says in this new three-minute video shared on his Instagram account that he is merely one of those guys that live life even rather badly. In it, he declares that he is making a drastic change to address this: he is quitting social media.

I find Instagram and Twitter to be too seductive and overpowering,” Tom Holland begins the brief statement he has prepared but is clearly having trouble delivering after trying to record his video “for an hour.” “but without success. Indeed, it would appear that his choice to stop using social media for a few weeks had an impact on him.
He claims that the networks are for him a “spiral that draws him in” and that they “impact [his] mental health” when he reads bad things about himself. For this reason, he opted to “delete applications.” You shouldn’t anticipate seeing the 26-year-old actor on social media any time soon because he hasn’t stated whether he intends to do so soon or not. During his brief comeback to Instagram, he was able to promote Stem4, an organization that assists youth with mental health issues, while also keeping his followers up to date.
