Snake Eyes is a forthcoming American superhero film directed by Robert Schwentke from a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos, Joe Shrapnel, and Anna Waterhouse, and entitled Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. The film is a reboot and the third episode in the G.I. Joe film series, based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe toy, comic, and media brand, and serves as an origin tale for the main character Snake Eyes.
Henry Golding takes over as the eponymous character from Ray Park, who played him in the previous films, and is joined by Andrew Koji, Úrsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, and Iko Uwais.
Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is set for a July 23, 2021 theatrical release in the United States by Paramount Pictures.
