Kate (2021) Synopsis

After realizing that she only has 24 hours to live after being poisoned, an assassin goes on a quest through Tokyo’s streets and meets the little daughter of a previous target.

Production

Kate, written by Umair Aleem and produced by David Leitch, Kelly McCormick, Bryan Unkeless, and Scott Morgan, was purchased by Netflix in October 2017. Cedric Nicolas-Troyan was announced as the film’s director in December 2018. Mary Elizabeth Winstead was cast as the leading lady in the picture in April of this year. Woody Harrelson joins the cast in July 2019. Michiel Huisman, Tadanobu Asano, and Jun Kunimura were among the newcomers to the cast in September. The Japanese rock band Band-Maid will appear in the film, it was revealed in November 2019.

On September 16, 2019, filming began and ended on November 29, 2019. Thailand, Tokyo, Japan, and Los Angeles, California were among the filming sites.
