Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin are co-directing Dog, an upcoming American comedy film.

United Artists Releasing will distribute the film in the United States on February 18, 2022.

Dog (2022) Synopsis

Briggs and his Belgian Malinois buddy Lulu race down the Pacific Coast in time to attend the burial of their best friend and handler.

Production

Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin are set to direct the comedy “Dog” on November 5, 2019, based on a script Carolin wrote from a story he created with Brett Rodriguez and are producing through Free Association with Tatum, Peter Kiernan, and Gregory Jacobs, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer acquired North American distribution rights to the film on March 2, 2020.

Tatum will also star in the picture, in addition to co-directing it. Q’orianka Kilcher was added to the cast in December 2020.

Filming was set to begin in the middle of 2020 on November 15, 2019. During the COVID-19 epidemic, it was shot in Los Angeles.

Release

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer had planned to release the film in the United States on February 12, 2021, but it was moved back to July. The date was eventually discovered to be July 16th. It was then pushed out to February 18, 2022 by its distributor.
